It would be
the transfer coup of the summer - and would literally eat the internet - as The
Sun reports that Man Utd are in "secret talks" with Barcelona to sign
Neymar!
Apparently, a
'top Barca source' has been spilling the beans to The Sun claiming United have
made a discreet approach. It seems that all the while we thought Ed Woodward
was in town to try (and fail) to sign Pedro, he was actually making an
audacious bid to lure the Brazilian superstar to Old Trafford.
Should the
deal be sealed, Neymar would be the most expensive footballer in the history.
Neymar
contract will expire in 2018 and his current demands may be viewed as a
strategy to attract many clubs as he keeps Barca in the spot to negotiate for a
better deal.
